Crysis 2 Multi Player Demo

Players will compete in six vs. six matches set against a war-torn Manhattan in two maps: “Skyline”, set on top of the rooftops and interiors of skyscrapers, and “Pier 17”, an open environment with limited cover. The demo also features two modes: “Team Instant Action” pits two teams against each other as they kill as many opponents as possible to win the round and “Crash Site,” where players will battle for control of alien drop pods, earning points by guarding their pods and keeping enemies at bay.


STATUS:
- ATI : GREEN (fully playable)
- NVIDIA : GREEN (fully playable)
- GMA : RED (not playable)

Personal Notes:
Only tested on nVidia 330M GT. Performance is really not that good.
I can play it on 1280x800 with Gamer Details with around 25FPS...

2. Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard / Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
- RAM: 2048 MB
- Video: nVidia 8xxx Series or AMD 3xxx or 4xxx Series Video Card necessary
- about 2 GB Hard Drive Space required

3. Known Issues:
- sometimes it crashes after the loading screen, does not happen that often.
Most times it works without any problems, just a bit slow.
[strike]- the brightness is just to high. Game looks like the bloom shader value is set to the double amount as normal.
I am trying to fix it.[/strike] Fixed thanks to Taeki, who found out, that you can pass advanced settings via commandline.

4. Installation:
When the wrapper has been completely extracted right click on the app and choose show package contents
Now follow the pathway Content > Resouces > Transgaming > c_drive > Program Files > Electronic Arts > Crytek >
Place the extracted Crysis 2 Demo folder in the Crytek folder.
Double click to launch the Multiplayer Demo

When you start the demo you can turn off the stats by following the direction below
- View wrapper contents / Resources / Preferences / config.
- Find ShowGraphicsStats, and change the Y to N.
If the quotes (") turn curly, copy a straight one and paste it over the curly quotes. Save and play
- If that doesn't work then do the same for ShowFPS and ShowMem.
- If you have started the game once or more then he has to do the same thing with the preferences folder or it isn't working.
